COMPAI has authored three how-to books published by Potter Craft (Random House).
Craft meets fashion design in the "99 Ways" series where Compai suggests easy, stylish
ways to transform your wardrobe and give new life to old clothing. "99 ways to Cut, Sew, Trim and Tie your T-shirt into Something Special" was originally self-published in Italy before being purchased by Random House.(The book has also been published in French by Maribout d'Ficelle - que chic!)The next two titles, "99 Ways to cut, Sew, Tie and Deck Out Your Denim" and "99 Ways to Cut, Sew, Tie and Rock your Scarf" came out in 2007 and 2008, respectively. The authors create all designs, illustrations, layout and clothing items themselves, in true, DIY fashion.
The "99 Ways" series has brought the recycled clothing movement to an international audience. With over 100,000 copies in circulation and people from LA to Tokyo sporting their own Compai designs, the books continue to inspire people all over the world to recycle their wardrobes!
